PADI Open Water Diver Course

Dive Theory Knowledge Development:

You will learn to dive by completing scuba diving knowledge development, dive skills in shallow water as well as four dives in the ocean. Concerning the knowledge development sessions, you have the flexibility to choose from 2 options:

Dive Theory Option A – completing all the theory, videos & quizzes in our classroom. Or

Dive Theory Option B – completing the classroom portion with elearning at your own pace – anytime, anywhere!

What are the advantages of choosing Option B?

The main benefit of choosing Option B is that you will be saving time on your holiday.  When you complete PADI eLearning before leaving for your holidays, the duration of the PADI Open Water Diver Course will be 3 days instead of 4 days!

Why Take the PADI Open Water Course?

Gozo, Malta is one of the top dive destinations in the world so is perfect to learn to dive! Upon successful completion of this course, PADI Open Water Divers receive a certification card and are eligible to dive to a maximum depth of 18 metres.  OW Divers can also participate in PADI adventure dives.

What shall I do if I am already qualified as a PADI Scuba Diver?

If you are already a PADI Scuba Diver, and you would like to upgrade to full Open Water Diver then enroll on this course, you only need to complete the remaining two knowledge development sessions, two confined water sessions, and two open water training dives.
